Hands-on training

Cochrane Work arranges face-to-face training at basic and advanced level for authors and other parties interested in Cochrane Reviews. We also cooperate with other parties in arranging training.

If you intend to conduct a Cochrane review and are in need of training, here are your options:

1. Online
See if the online learning modules provided by Cochrane satisfy your needs. Also have a look at the teaching slides used during our group's most recent Basic and Advanced Reviewer's courses.

2. Come to Kuopio
We have had several authors visiting us and working on their reviews for anything up to two weeks. Our institute can offer free accommodation.

3. Sign up for our next systematic review course in Helsinki
Unfortunately we have no courses as yet planned for 2015 or 2016. But if a minimum of ten beginning or aspiring authors wish to attend a course in Helsinki then we can set one up at a few months' notice. If you are one such individual, please write to the Managing Editor.

3. Find a course nearer to you
If you can't decide which is the most suitable course for you, then contact your nearest Cochrane Centre. Explain your interest and background. Their staff will help you decide which is the most suitable Cochrane group to contact or course that you should attend.
