Collaboration within Cochrane and the Campbell Collaboration:
Historically the scope of Cochrane Work has overlapped with that of many other Cochrane Entities: Back Review Group, Musculoskeletal Injuries Group, Depression, Anxiety and Neurosis Group, Injuries Group, EPOC Group, Gynaecological Cancer Group, Airways Group, Acute Respiratory Infections Group, Ear Nose and Throat Disorders Group, Pregnancy and Child Birth Group, Heart Group, Skin Group, Multiple Sclerosis Group, Public Health Group, Hepato-Biliary Disorders Group, Peripheral Vascular Disease Group, Alcohol and Drugs Group, HIV Group, Non-Randomised Studies Methods Group, Economic Methods Group.
Due to Cochrane structural changes, many of these groups no longer exist as editorial process' have been moved to a central editorial base at Cochrane. For a current list of the various entities within Cochrane please go to Our global community entities.
We actively seek collaboration from all entities where there may be crossover of scope. Collaboration ranges from discussion about methods and possible overlap in proposed new titles to acting as peer referees and editors for other entities' reviews and asking them to do likewise on ours.
The Campbell Collaboration gathers evidence on the effectiveness of interventions in the area of social welfare which is also closely related to our scope. We are aiming to co-register reviews that are of mutual interest.
